Special Issue Announcement for “Air Pollution and Mercury”

Atmospheric Pollution Research (http://www.atmospolres.com) is an international journal designed for the publication of articles on air pollution and atmospheric processes. I am pleased to announce that one of the 2011 issues of the APR journal will be published as a special issue (SI) focusing on “Air Pollution and Mercury” with Professor Ki-Hyun Kim of Sejong University (khkim@sejong.ac.kr) serving as the Handling Editor. Papers should present all types of subjects binding the pollution and mercury species in air with a main emphasis on the following subjects and related issues: pollution processes and anthropogenic emissions, control techniques for Hg species, or the impacts of Hg pollution on human health and ecological systems. Potential authors may submit their articles directly to the journal online submission system for this special issue by selecting the article type “Special Issue on Air Pollution and Mercury” (http://www.atmospolres.com/manuscript.html). (All potential authors are encouraged to submit a manuscript proposal to Prof. Kim by March 31, 2011.) APR is an open access journal and does not require any service charges from the authors.
